We devote the entire podcast to political commentary of one type or another. Beginning with an editorial comment from Sam about Obama (and McCain), we work through the possible reasons behind Hillary's hanging-in, the timing of John Edwards' endorsement of Obama, the 2000 and 2004 election and more.
In addition to Sam's vast store-house of intelligence, we turn to several articles for inspiration. They include, E.J. Dionne's "Hillary Has a Choice", posted Monday on truthdig. We say it's right on. Then there is AP's "Miss. Democrat wins GOP House seat" published Tuesday, one of several articles featuring the stunning Mississippi Democrat Travis Childers' strong win over Republican Greg Davis in a special election. We say the Republican party should be afraid of November. Very, very afraid. And just to round things out, we refer to Mike Lillis' "Blue Dogs Fight Tuition Perks for Vets", published Wednesday in The Washington Independent. We say those who oppose Jim Webb's expanded education benefit bill for vets should also be very, very afraid if they are up for re-election in November. Very powerful information here. Listen up!
We should be back Monday, May 19. Thanks, as always for your comments and support. Tell a friend about us!
