Seems Winnfield, Louisiana is a pretty forgiving place if you happen to be caucasian. After all, the police chief is a convicted felon, pardoned by former Gov. Edwin Edwards, who is currently serving time in a federal prison himself. Said chief hired the 21 year old cop, the son of the former chief who committed suicide after losing a close election marred by allegations of fraud and vote-buying. You get the picture.
